The Swan Inn is situated within the town of Crewkerne approximately 10 miles South West of Yeovil and 16 miles North East of Lyme Regis. It is situated in the Parish of West Crewkerne which includes the hamlets of Woolminstone and Henley. Crewkerne is a small market town centre with offices, cafes, shops and supermarkets.
The town lies on the River Parrett, A30 road and West of England Main Line railway. It is located 44 miles North East of Exeter, 50 miles South of Bristol, and 138 miles South West of London.
Crewkerne railway station is served by South West Trains on the main south western railway line. Trains operate to London Waterloo (two and a half hours away) via Salisbury (70 minutes), and in the opposite direction to Exeter St Davids (under an hour)The town is served by Stagecoach South West with buses to Yeovil via Kithill, Misterton and Haselbury Plucknett and Chard.
