- Superb opportunity

- Zoned for 'Other Employment Land Use Area'
Description
The site is the location of the former Craighead School, which closed in October 2009 and was subsequently demolished. In the subsequent 9 years has been considered for a number of different uses, including the approval of a waste processing plant, as well as a consent for Use Classes 4, 5 and 6.
Nearby occupiers include, Finning, Portakabin, Audi, Ford, Farmfoods and B&M.
The site is level and consists of a mixture of clear ground, aggregate and woodland.
Planning
Within the Local Development Plan adopted in June 2015, the site is currently zoned for 'Other Employment Land Use Area' and 'Green Network'.
The proposed Local Development Plan likely to be adopted toward the end of 2019 shows no material alterations have been made to the site.
Historically, consent for an energy from waste facility was consented. We understand that obtaining alternative consent for Use Classes 4, 5 and 6 would be possible but interested parties should make their own enquiries.
